The Northern Orange Robotics Association (NORA) is an unincorporated nonprofit association under the North Carolina Uniform Unincorporated Nonprofit Association Act and is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 88-3007133).  

We currently help support more than 100 K-12 students across FIRST ® LEGO® League, FIRST ® Tech Challenge, and FIRST ® Robotics Competition teams, to:

1)  Teach students scientific, engineering and math principles involved in the design and construction of robots

2)  Support students in their development of communication, presentation, teamwork and leadership skills

3)  Further the mission of FIRST ® by fostering Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition®

4)  Encourage the Core Values of Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork and Fun as students explore the world of robotics and prepare for their future.
